At the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, the party will formally nominate Donald Trump as its presidential candidate in advance of the Nov. 5 U.S. election. CBC News will have special coverage of the four-day event Monday through Thursday. Republicans will assemble in Milwaukee on Monday to kick off the Republican National Convention, where the party will formally nominate Donald Trump as its presidential candidate to take on Joe Biden in the Nov. 5 U.S.
It's expected that Trump will accept the party's nomination for president with a speech on Thursday, the final day of the convention. It'll be the third time Republicans have chosen him as their candidate since the former real estate entrepreneur and reality TV host entered politics in 2015.
