'Edith Can Shoot Things and Hit Them' and 'Simprov' both deal with issues of finding oneself.

One is “Edith Can Shoot Things and Hit Them,” which dramatizes three kids facing extreme challenges , and “Simprov,” a world premiere dark comedy by Obie award winning playwright Laurence Klavan .
She remembers that “when I first read this play, I felt like it was a gift both to the artists working on it and the audiences who will experience it. A. Rey Pamatmat writes these characters with an authenticity that is very rare for Asian American and queer representation in theater. Audiences will join these daring characters as they go through extremes of love, loss, and hope that will ultimately empower people.
Director William Grayson says, “What I find most intriguing about ‘Simprov’ is the search for identity. Our characters are struggling with a landscape that technology is changing faster than they can keep up with.”
