Saskatchewan is expected to heat up Sunday, but with that heat comes the potential for storms.

There is a high risk of severe thunderstorms on Sunday across southern Saskatchewan. Storms may be isolated but will carry a risk of large hail, strong wind gusts and possibly a few tornadoes. Stay up to date with watches and warnings and have a safety plan in place.

Environment Canada put out a tornado watch Sunday afternoon, saying storms will start in the mid to late afternoon.2 teens charged with murder, manslaughter in connection with fatal stabbing of 71-year-old N.B. manTerri Lang, meteorologist with Environment Canada, said we haven’t seen much of the kind of heat that’s expected in Saskatchewan Sunday.
