ICYMI: RCMP investigate death of two teenage girls in Sylvan Lake hotel room

He said the medical examiner is working to determine the cause of death, including the results of toxicology tests. Alberta Health Services said it has put additional staff in place to support those affected by the deaths, including walk-in sessions with counsellors. Red Deer Mayor Ken Johnston released a statement offering condolences, and thanking emergency crews for their quick response.
