The residents of several Malay-majority areas in Kedah express their hopes for a better and brighter future.
Residents want reps who will address the plight and concerns of people
“I hope that whichever government is voted in will bring in development for the sake of my children and grandchildren’s future . He, however, said this can only be done if the state government shared a similar agenda with the Federal Government. Roti canai seller Mohd Isa Othman, 52, wants a representative who can voice out the people’s concerns and highlight their plight.“Whoever wins must ensure that they put the people first,” he added.
He said locals, especially the older generation, are unhappy with the politicking from caretaker Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor.
