HONG KONG: Two people have been arrested in Hong Kong after a cleaner found the bodies of two babies in glass bottles in the living room of a vacated apartment. The suspects - a 24-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman - are believed to be the parents of the babies.

The bottles were 30cm tall and the bodies had no obvious signs of injury, Chief Inspector Au Yeung Tak of the New Territories North division told reporters on Saturday . According to the South China Morning Post, a source familiar with the case said the babies were boys and there was a possibility they could be stillborn judging by their size.The landlord sent a cleaner there after the tenants moved out. Hong Kong broadcaster RTHK reported that the bodies were “soaked in liquid and kept in bottles".
