“This was a horrific offence that occurred in a public area and we’re seeking any information from the public,” said Staff Sgt. Sean Gregson of the Calgary police homicide unit. “This was a really horrific crime.”Article content “If anyone was driving past the park on Thursday morning, we also need them to come forward, as they may have unknowingly seen something and may have critical information that could help us,” he said, about those driving on Deerfoot Trail or other nearby streets, or walking in the area, between 4:30 and 10:30 a.m.Staff Sgt.
