A GTA farm is hoping some of its animals’ artwork might moo-ve you to purchase one of their pieces. The Farmhouse Garden Animal Home in Uxbridge is holding an Animal Art Auction to cover costs such as food, bedding and veterinary services for its animals.

None of the animals creating paintings will come into direct contact with the paint. Instead, paint will be put on a canvas, which will then be wrapped in plastic. An animal’s favourite liquid food will then be put on top of the plastic, leading them to use their tongue to create their masterpieces, according to Barabash.
“The winters are always kind of a tough time for all animal rescues because we don’t have the pasture accessible to us until the end of May, so the cows are in the barnyard,” Barabash said. “Outside, there’s no grass, so they’re always eating hay.”
