Sailors from both HMCS Yellowknife and Edmonton were welcomed home by friends and family at CFB Esquimalt after an operation where they seized more than $60 million in suspected cocaine.Operation CARIBBEThis is a joint operation with the United States Coast Guard with the goal of intercepting illicit drug trafficking vessels.

Crews said “lucky” was a big descriptor of the mission, as the first attempt to intercept the suspected vessel was unsuccessful.
