Over 400 workers in a call center company in Davao City contract COVID-19
Sa isang virtual presser, sinabi ni Dr. Marjorie Culas, assistant city health officer ng siyudad, na nasa 1,000 empleyado ng kompanya ang isinailalim sa swab test matapos ilan sa kanila ang unang nagpositibo sa sakit.
“That is high already. High positivity rate. We are really forced to lockdown the area. Talagang surge na within the workplace ang nangyari sa kanila," ani Culas.Dagdag ni Culas, maraming business process outsourcing companies ang nagkaroon ng transmission ng sakit sa kanilang office spaces.Sa ngayon, nasa 11 call center companies ang nakapagtala ng mga kaso ng COVID-19.
Samantala, nasa 26 na establisimyento naman ang marami ring kaso ng COVID-19. Kabilang dito ang government offices, stores, bangko, simbahan, pati mga food at non-food establishments.Bisitahin ang Patrol.PH para sa iba pang mga balita.
