Highway 4 reopens after morning closure
Highway 4 in central Vancouver Island has reopened after being closed in the morning for a seven-kilometre stretch because of the wildfire near Cameron Lake.Motorists were also cautioned to watch for traffic control officials.
Cameron Lake is on the north side of Highway 4 approximately 15 kilometres east of Port Alberni. Highway 4 runs from Qualicum Beach across Vancouver Island to Port Alberni, Ucluelet and Tofino.
