Sydney Academy downed the Northeast Kings Education Centre Titans 14-0 in Canning. The Wildcats improve their record to 1-1 on the season. Jackson MacDonald had a 27-yard touchdown run, while Payton Barter recorded a 31-yard touchdown. Both extra point were converted. Sydney Academy was scheduled to host Horton on Sept. 17 in Sydney, however the game was postponed due to post-tropical storm Lee. The team opened the season with a 21-20 loss to Sackville on Sept. 10.
