Hamas militants infamously used paragliders in their attack to parachute into Israel and bypass border defences. According to the SMH, Dr Basyouny initially said he would examine the post and provide a response, before failing to reply to multiple requests for further comment. "They've been under duress for 12 years and if we are about to talk about the events that happened on the seventh of October, we should be talking about the events that have been happening for the last seven years that have been under duress," he said.
