After a cautious first half, the Wanderers applied the pressure late in the match. They had several chances in close, including four attempts that either rang off the crossbar or the post, but they couldn’t find the equalizer. The Wanderers held a 14-8 shot advantage, 10-4 in the second half. Pacific advances to next Saturday’s semifinal against either No. 1 seed Cavalry FC or second-ranked Forge FC. Those clubs play this evening in Calgary. The winner advances to the CPL Final on Oct. 28 while the loser hosts Pacific in the semi.
