Herb Dickieson is seeking the nomination for the Island New Democrats in the O’Leary-Inverness district. Contributed - Contributedis seeking the nomination to represent the Island New Democrats in the O’Leary-Inverness district for the 2023 provincial election.

“I’m very pleased with the work of Michelle Neill, whose positive leadership of the Island New Democrats is rejuvenating the party and providing Islanders with a better deal for the many challenges we face in health care, housing and the cost of living,” he said. Aside from his medical practice, Dickieson has served on several community and provincial organizations, including with the Royal Canadian Legion, the West Prince Chamber of Commerce, the Emergency Measures Organization, the task force on Island education and as president of the P.E.I. Medical Society. He has also previously advocated for the UPEI medical school.
