DAVAO CITY – The Bureau of Quarantine -Davao has been directed to implement a heightened surveillance of all passengers with travel history to China at the Davao International Airport.

She said no additional requirement of testing for COVID-19 has been enforced for travelers from China, except for unvaccinated and partially vaccinated international passengers. Dr. Rachel Pasion, head of the Regional Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit of the Department of Heath-Davao, said cases of COVID-19 in the region are continuously going down.
