PUTRAJAYA : Private healthcare facilities can renew their licenses via myBPR@CKAPS, an online system aligned with the Private Healthcare Facilities and Services Act 1998 .
Initially, the system will serve 120 health facilities through the Private Healthcare Facility and Service License Renewal Module. Once applications are submitted, they will be processed concurrently by both the ministry's Headquarters CKAPS for document verification and the Federal Territory/State Health Department CKAPS for on-site premise inspections.Previously, the renewal process could extend to eight months, but the commitment from the ministry and CKAPS aims to cut down the timeline to three months, meeting the CKAPS's Key Performance Indicator.
