Health Canada warns that Sunrise Farms' young turkey with giblets has been recalled from the marketplace due to microbial contamination from spoilage.
A recall notification was posted Saturday, Oct. 7, stating that the turkeys were distributed to B.C., Alberta, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan, and have a best before date of Oct. 11. The recalled turkeys have been sold in Sobeys stores including Safeway, Thrify Foods, IGA, Foodland, and Fresh Co.
