Miranda Lynn Taylor claims her boyfriend manipulated her into posting some of the evidence disclosed to him on a charge of first-degree murder on Facebook ...

Miranda Lynn Taylor testified Tuesday at her jury trial in Nova Scotia Supreme Court in Dartmouth. Taylor is accused of being an accessory after the fact to the July 2019 murder of Triston Reece and intimidating two justice system participants. - Steve BruceMiranda Lynn Taylor claims her boyfriend manipulated her into posting some of the evidence disclosed to him on a charge of first-degree murder on Facebook and says she never meant to harm or scare anyone.

The Crown alleges Taylor put the material on Facebook to try to provoke a state of fear in Rulla Cox and Jason Weagle and to help Kaz Cox – now her former boyfriend – escape liability for the homicide. Taylor said the couple never talked about Reece’s killing until after Cox was arrested in jail in November 2019 and charged with first-degree murder.

“I was drinking almost every day, and he hadn’t really said what his intentions were at the time of the posting.”She said she didn’t realize then that Rulla was a potential witness for Kaz’s trial.
