‘HDC, Jakim tak boleh operasi macam zaman batu’, Bung gesa rebut peluang industri halal

Ahli Parlimen Kinabatangan berkata industri halal dunia bernilai hampir USD7 trilion setiap tahun namun gagal diterokai agensi kerajaan.

Bung Moktar Radin minta peranan HDC dan Jakim disemak semula selain peruntukan tambahan agar aktiviti promosi dan industri pengeluaran produk halal dapat dipergiat.

“Negara yang mengaut keuntungan Korea, Jepun, Thailand, Singapura. Malaysia tak ada nombor. Sedangkan negara ini terkenal dengan produk halal. Beliau mendakwa kehadiran HDC masih tidak “dirasai” di negara ini, malah masih ramai yang tidak mengenali agensi berkenaan.
