The visitors surged back into the series in India and they have one man to thank. 9WWOS
Only made nine in the first innings, but batted beautifully in the second innings. The boundary over mid-off changed the innings and swung the momentum. I'm not sure he wants to open the batting in the long term. I still think he may go back into the middle order - which I think he prefers - to bat probably at five.Sixty in the first innings. He played really well. Took a really good catch to remove Shreyas Iyer in India's second innings.
He made 20 in the first innings. I would have loved to see him kick on there, but I thought he was unlucky with his lbw.He kept pretty well and made another good stumping. Missed out with the bat, but this sort of pitch doesn't suit him, either. He's a little bit like Travis Head and David Warner; they like to feel the bat on the ball, and go after the ball, and that's very tough to do under these conditions.Didn't get a wicket in the first innings and only one in the second.
