Prince Harry has addressed whether he would ever return to the United Kingdom to reclaim his role as a senior working member of the Royal Family.
In the first trailer of the interview, which will air on the US version of 60 Minutes this Sunday, the father-of-two opens up about his ongoing tension with the monarchy.
He accuses senior members of the Royal Family of"planting" and “leaking” stories against him and his wife Meghan Markle to the press. He alleges that it was common practice for them to “feed” stories to the media to protect certain royals, but claims they were not willing to “put a statement out” to shield him and his wife.
“There becomes a point when silence is betrayal,” the father-of-two told the American broadcast journalist. Prince Harry reportedly chose the son of Gloria Vanderbilt for the interview because he had won his “trust”.
