AS 'malu besar dan tersisih' apabila hanya 12 negara menyertai Washington dan Israel dalam UNGA yang menentang usul gencatan senjata di Gaza.

WASHINGTON: Amerika Syarikat mendapat ‘malu besar dan tersisih’ apabila hanya 12 negara menyertai Washington dan Israel dalam Perhimpunan Agung Pertubuhan Bangsa-Bangsa Bersatu yang menentang usul gencatan senjata demi membolehkan bantuan kemanusiaan disalurkan dengan lancar di Semenanjung Gaza.

Keputusan itu secara tidak langsung menunjukkan sokongan langsung daripada negara kuasa besar, termasuk Perancis, United Kingdom dan Sepanyol yang enggan menyertai Washington. Menjelang undian usul tersebut, Jordan berikrar untuk memaksimumkan sokongan terhadap Palestin dengan menggesa gencatan senjata dilakukan segera, selain menyokong supaya semua tebusan dibebaskan dengan selamat.
