SINGAPORE: Bangladeshi Ali Md Ripon, 30, was handed two molestation charges on Thursday (July 18) for allegedly inappropriately touching two women, aged 25 and 43, in the waters off Palawan Beach in Sentosa on May 1.

SHAH ALAM: A handbag, believed to have belonged to Nur Farah Kartini Abdullah was discovered by police divers in Sungai Trolak Kampung Batu, Perak.

Selangor police chief Comm Datuk Hussein Omar Kah said the handbag was discovered in the river on Thursday .The search location was some 20 minutes from the site of the first search location in a drain at a palm oil plantation in Kampung Sri Keledang, Hulu Selangor. On Wednesday , police divers discovered a mobile phone, believed to have belonged to Nur Farah Kartini, in the palm oil plantation's drain.

Police also believed the location in Kampung Sri Keledang is the prime crime scene and the act was committed by one perpetrator. It was reported that the victim's body was found at a palm oil plantation in Kampung Sri Keledang, Hulu Selangor on July 15.She was reported missing after sending a rental car to a customer at Taman Universiti, Tanjung Malim.
