White House National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan made similar remarks, claiming some of Hamas' proposed changes"differ more substantively" to what was detailed in the UN-adopted resolution.
On Tuesday, Qatari and Egyptian mediators revealed in a joint statement they had received a response from Hamas in relation to the latest ceasefire proposal.
