“We have had the good fortune to work with so many other local businesses over the years, with whom we share common goals and philosophies, and continue to work with an amazing staff of folks who are committed to delivering excellent customer experiences and fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. There would be no North Brewing without the staff, the relationships we’ve developed, and the amazing communities who have supported us over the years," said Herbin.
“When we first moved from Agricola Street, we narrowed it down to two potential communities: Cole Harbour and Timberlea. We found the perfect space for our main production and first taproom in Cole Harbour and so we jumped in and have been totally embraced by our neighbours out that way. During the pandemic, we started doing home delivery and we were frequently delivering to Timberlea and Tantallon, which made us circle back to the idea of opening in Timberlea,” said Burbridge.
“It really has been challenging,” Darvesh said. “Supply shortages, shipping costs, increased equipment costs, etc., have been really tricky to navigate, which is something so many of us have experienced over the last couple of years now. Though these factors have definitely slowed things down, we've been really lucky in a few ways. We’ve had the opportunity to work with amazing builders, trades, and a designer …..
