CEBU CITY, Philippines — The University of the Visayas (UV) Green Lancers will have its last remaining elimination round game in the Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. (Cesafi) college
division by taking on the University of San Jose-Recoletos at the Cebu Coliseum at 6:45 PM tomorrow, Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2022.
Their game against the Jaguars tomorrow is somewhat crucial since they are planning to remain as the top-ranked team heading into the playoffs next month. Amistoso, the Green Lancers’ starting point guard has been sidelined for several weeks already because of his chronic ankle pain.“Amistoso will be back 100 percent coming to the playoffs. Beirn , we’ll see how he fares in the coming weeks. It is definitely that second hamstring injury that delayed his return to play. It’s too early to say, but both players are doing good progress in their recovery,” said Potot.
