A 37-year-old woman is facing a slew of charges after police say she crashed her vehicle in Lower Island Cove, boarded a school bus and allegedly assaulted two students inside.

Shortly after the crash, the driver of a school bus who had come upon the incident stopped to see if help was needed. Nicole Driscoll of Grates Cove, who police said showed signs of impairment, was arrested for impaired driving and assault.
