Grab and BYD have announced a regional partnership to make up to 50,000 electric vehicles (EVs) available to Grab's driver-partners in Southeast Asia. The collaboration aims to overcome the high upfront costs of EVs and boost the electrification of transportation in the region. Drivers will have options for renting EVs or financing through Grab's car ownership schemes. Grab users will also benefit from increased access to green vehicles through the 'Eco-Friendly Ride' option.
