Govt to review need for SSPN tax relief after 2024

Deputy Finance Minister II Steven Sim said the government has listened to feedback from all stakeholders regarding the extension of the tax relief until 2024, before the Finance Bill 2023 was passed today.“Next year, we will look at the policy again and get feedback from all quarters, including the opposition, before making a decision,” he told parliament during the second and third reading of the bill, which was passed today.
