University of Sydney Senior Lecturer Becky Freeman says Health Minister Mark Butler and the Albanese government’s decision to ban recreational vaping is “decisive and bold”.

‘The importation of all vaping products, regardless of whether they contain nicotine or not will be prohibited unless those products are bound for a pharmacy,” she said in an interview with Sky News Australia.

“This is going to turn off that tap of illicit products that have been flooding the market in Australia.”
