Nottingham's Goose Fair returns to Forest Recreation Ground
There is an aroma of doughnuts, mushy peas and fried onions, the rides are up and, of course, Goosey is in place. That can all only mean one thing - Nottingham's Goose Fair is back.
The annual event is back at Forest Recreation Ground for 10 days. The fair traditionally used to start on the first Wednesday in October and ran for five days until the Sunday. However, this year's fair will start on Friday, September 29, from 4pm, and run until Sunday, October 8. Gates will open at 4pm on Friday, September 29 and stay open until 11.30pm. They will reopen on Saturday, September 30 from 12noon until 11.30pm and 1pm until 9pm on Sunday, October 1.The fair will be open from 4pm until 11.30pm on October 2, 3 and 4, 4pm until 11pm on Thursday, October, 4pm until 11.30pm on Friday, October 6. It will once again open from 12noon until 11.30pm on Saturday, October 7 and from 1pm until 9pm on Sunday, October 8.
