The occupants of two vehicles who stopped to help at a crash site were allegedly met by a gun-wielding man, who was later found dead 280km away.
Good Samaritans who stopped at a crash site south of Perth on Saturday night were allegedly fired upon by the car’s occupants, one of whom was later found dead 280 kilometres away.
When one of the passengers got out of the Triton to assist, a man carrying a firearm and a woman allegedly emerged from bushes near the crash site. The Triton returned a short time later to collect the passenger who had gotten out to help, but as it approached, the male offender allegedly fired a second round into the back of the vehicle. Again, none of the occupants were injured.
