From sunlorrie: Dave McLaughlin pays it forward with his music

But he never forgot the importance of paying it forward and of mentoring young people, nor the lessons he learned from his family while attending Sunday church services in his local parish in Montego Bay as a child. Ever since then, McLaughlin, in addition to performing professionally, has been raising money for worthy causes — including scholarships for deserving young people in the Greater Toronto Area, driven by his belief that “every child can grow up to become anything — a doctor, a lawyer or a criminal and we have to help them make the right choices.”
