Michelle Yeoh has won best actress in a musical or comedy, and delivered a speech so passionate that she managed to stave off the play-off music. “Forty years,” she started. “I’m not letting go of this … It’s been an amazing journey and an incredible fight to be here today.”Yeoh recalled getting her start in the US and being isolated as a minority in the all-white industry.
“I turned 60 last year and I think all of you women understand this ... As the days, the years and the numbers get bigger, the opportunities start to get smaller as well. This was at a time I thought I had a good run … then along came the best gift:She thanked directors The Daniels for their courage to back the story of “a very ordinary immigrant mother” and also her “hot dog lover” Jamie Lee Curtis, who looked on from the crowd in total adoration.

Sorry Margot Robbie!The Irish actor won his second Golden Globe for playing the supposedly dull best friend inHe thanked director Martin McDonagh and co-star Brendan Gleeson then deflected being cut off with “you can forget that piano”!a 2008 crime comedy about two hitmen getting stuck in Bruges after an unsuccessful mission.
