McKibbon pleaded guilty on Sept. 14 to being an accessory after the fact to the commission of the robbery. The charge involves McKibbon knowing that co-accused Matthew Douglas Uytendaele, 26, committed the armed robbery and that she helped him escape. McKibbon also gave a false alibi to police for herself and Uytendaele.According to the facts previously read in court, on March 3 after midnight, McKibbon and Uytendaele drove to the Irving gas station and convenience store in Hunter River.
After speaking to a lawyer, McKibbon gave a voluntary statement to police. She said that on March 2 - the day before the robbery - her vehicle and keys were stolen. McKibbon also said that she only realized her vehicle was stolen on March 4 and that she had not reported the theft to police.
