A $1 billion export contract to build armoured vehicles with Germany looks to be “in danger” now, according to Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell. In July, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese announced Australia would export more than 100 locally made Boxer heavy weapon carrier vehicles to Germany. There have now been reports that negotiations over the export deal have broken down after the Albanese government awarded a more lucrative defence contract to a South Korean company.
