After pulling support from the Unity Government to become a ‘third force’ in protest of Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Zahid Hamidi’s dropped charges, it is likely that MUDA may join the Perikatan Nasional coalition.
As reported by Malaysia Gazette, Lau said that he believes MUDA’s participation into the coalition would improve the opposition due to the party’s stance and ideology that’s aligned with PN, which Lau dubs as a coalition with integrity and against corruption. “In my opinion, we welcome MUDA to join PN, not just in the opposition block but as component party, associate or even as ‘Friends of PN’,
