Two Gatineau men appeared in court Tuesday charged in connection with an alleged robbery targeting a woman in her south\u002Dend Ottawa driveway.

The Ottawa Police Service said Wednesday that the woman had pulled in at about 11:20 p.m. on Oct. 6 when another vehicle stopped with two men inside. Soon after that arrest, the vehicle involved was spotted travelling in Gatineau and a second suspect was arrested after a short pursuit, police said. Officers found BBs for a pellet gun and property belonging to the Ottawa woman in the vehicle, police said. The two men, aged 20 and 23, are charged with robbery using a firearm, conspiracy to commit an indictable offence, careless use, handling or storage of a firearm, possession of a weapon for committing an offence and pointing a firearm.Recommended from Editorial
