The wheeling and dealing is under way for the Ottawa Senators.

A first-round pick of the Carolina Hurricanes in the 2016 NHL draft, Gauthier, 25, has suited up for 40 games with New York this season. He’s a fourth-line winger and brings good size at 6-foot-4, 224-pounds. He has six goals and nine points with the Rangers.

If the Rangers advance past the first-round of the playoffs then the Senators will receive a sixth-round pick from New York.
