A serving Garda on trial charged in connection with 89 offences of deception, corruption and money laundering has dramatically changed his plea on Day 3 of his trial at Trim Circuit Court.
Joseph Doyle, 39, of Kilcock, Co Kildare, asked through his defence counsel Kathleen Leader, SC, to be re-arraigned in front of the jury and presiding Judge John Martin.
