A large crowd gathered outside the Temple Bar pub yesterday evening in protest at an incident that was captured on CCTV
Gardaí have said they are investigating allegations of an assault after an incident in Dublin city centre.The altercation reportedly took place on Monday evening in the Temple Bar area and involved at least two teenagers and four adults.In a statement to JOE, a Garda spokesperson said:"Gardaí are investigating allegations of an assault that is believed to have occurred in the Dublin 2 area on Monday 26th July 2021.
On Thursday evening, dozens of people attended a protest outside the Temple Bar Pub over the incident on Monday. In regards to the demonstration, the Garda spokesperson said:"Gardaí attended the scene of a planned protest that occurred in the Temple Bar area on the evening of Thursday, 29th July, 2021.JOE has contacted the Temple Bar Pub for comment.
