According to Galvez, the projected timeline from enactment of the law to initial implementation is two to three years, while full implementation could be done in five years.
The number of personnel needed to run the program nationwide would be equivalent to around two infantry divisions. During his first State of the Nation Address in July last year, President Marcos said that among his priority legislation was making ROTC in Grade 11 and Grade 12 mandatory.
