I know. I know. It never really went away, but most of us just sort of put it away in our minds, took off the masks and dropped the precautions.
Even our own public health officials and governments have put COVID concerns on the back burner. I can’t remember the last time I heard one of them going public and talking about new case numbers or deaths. It’s basically been crickets. I’m not entirely sure what spike proteins are, but when I hear medical experts using this kind of language, I know it’s not good.
In the Southern Hemisphere, where winter is just ending, the flu has been on the gallop. In Australia, it’s been attacking teenagers. There is another respiratory virus known as RSV coming our way, too. There will be another round of vaccines released that may give us more protection against the new variants. And there is also the flu vaccine.
