LETTING BYGONES BE BYGONE. Former adversaries Presidential Peace Adviser Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr. and Bangsamoro parliamentarian Abdullah Macapaar, also known as Commander Bravo of the Muslim separatist group Moro Islamic Liberation Front, exchange pleasantries at the sideline of a ground-breaking ceremony for Camp Bilal, an erstwhile MILF fortress recently transformed into a housing and resettlement site.
“This housing project is a realization of our vision to transform former MILF camps into peaceful, productive, and resilient communities,” said Galvez. Macapaar, who expressed gratitude for the project, described it as a milestone in the journey toward peace and development.
