The former police officer is facing charges of domestic violence-related murder and aggravated break-and-enter after allegedly shooting Jesse Baird and Luke Davies.
Police have laid new charges against accused double killer and former police officer Beau Lamarre-Condon, alleging the murders of couple Jesse Baird and Luke Davies were domestic violence-related and that he broke into the home in Sydney’s inner east.
Lamarre-Condon, 29, has been in custody on two charges of murder after handing himself in to police in the days after the February 19 shooting of 26-year-old TV presenter and AFL umpire Baird, and his new partner, 29-year-old Qantas flight attendant Davies.Police allege Lamarre-Condon, then a senior constable, used his police-issued Glock to shoot the couple at Baird’s Paddington share house before dumping their bodies in surfboard bags outside the town of Bungonia, south of Goulburn.
Police allege Lamarre-Condon killed Baird due to an obsession with the Network Ten presenter, and that Davies was killed as collateral damage because he was also at the home.In June, the next of kin of Baird and Davies, who live in Victoria and Queensland respectively, requested to dial into court proceedings. His case is due to return to Downing Centre Local Court on August 13.
