The four Philippine National Police men were Lieutenant Allan Esguerra, Executive Master Sergeant Jowel Bolante, Executive Master Sergeant Roel Capuno and Senior Master Sergeant Lizandro Cordero who were cited and given Medalya ng Pagkilala in the ‘Salamat Kapatid’ rites.

Batangas Police provincial director Col. Pedro Soliba led the program held at the Camp Migel Malvar in Batangas City. In his speech, Esguerra said “ipinagmamalaki ko na sa 25 taon sa serbisyo ay naibigay ko nang maayos ang aking paglilingkod na may malasakit sa kapwa, pagpapahalaga at pagmamahal sa PNP organizations .”
