- Chinese police arrested four people on Saturday linked to a restaurant explosion that killed dozens, state media reported.

The suspects included the restaurant owner, two shareholders and the manager, state news agency Xinhua reported. An emergency response mechanism has been launched to help local agencies and financial institutions provide insurance compensation services in relation to the blast. Two patients with slight burns and injuries will be discharged soon. For those with severe burns, doctors have completed wound debridement and treated them for air passage and lung injuries, said Dr Lyu Guozhong, director of the national emergency medical research centre.
