Woman found with serious injuries did not survive, Prince George RCMP say
Prince George RCMP have ruled out foul play in the death of a woman who was found unconscious at a 1600-block Ingledew Street apartment building a week ago.
"After many hours of investigation, our Serious Crime Unit has determined the woman’s injuries were not the result of a criminal act and in fact were related to a medical issue. Our thoughts go out to the family and friends of the victim," Cpl. Jennifer Cooper said in a statement issued Tuesday. She was discovered unconscious and with serious injuries during the early morning of May 4. She passed away in the hospital several days later.
