Andrew Forrest’s Fortescue Metals Group taking longer than forecast to get troublesome Iron Bridge project into production.

has hit another snag with a delay in first production and commissioning of key infrastructure taking longer than expected.

In its latest update, Fortescue revealed it has not finished commissioning and testing a number of key pieces of infrastructure. Fortescue budgeted $US2.6 billion for the project and targeted first production in mid-2022 when it was first announced about four years ago.
